Welcome to Solomon's Conservative Wisdom

Welcome to my Conservative Blog, Solomon's Conservative Wisdom. The name comes from my middle name and the historical & biblical figure King Solomon, now I make no claim to have Solomon's Wisdom, but I do have Common Sense. I welcome anyone to join in and comment about anything I may have written, posted or one of my Articles / Columns. This blog is dedicated to conservatism and freedom. I invite all conservatives to join in, I don’t mind non-conservatives joining in (after all the only way to change liberals and fence-sitters is to debate them and change their minds, some are just too hard headed to admit they are wrong) . All I expect is a respectful debate.

I have recently split my postings to a few other blogs I own, Solomon's Conservative Wisdom, Solomon's Conservative Wisdom II, and Solomon's Conservative Wisdom at Townhall.com, to spread out some of my postings.
So check them out and tell me what you think.

Please comment on my Articles and Columns, as well as any other post that is not just a link to a story.

I want to know what others think and have a debate. And make sure to check out my Articles and Columns if you haven't already.

So tell everyone you know.

Quote of the Year

"If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody isn't thinking."

General George S. Patton

Quote of the Month

Runs until 11/07/2012

"Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best; it removes all that is base. All men are afraid in battle. The coward is the one who lets his fear overcome his sense of duty. Duty is the essence of manhood."

General George S. Patton

Bonus Quote

"If you’ve got a business – you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen."

President Barack Hussein Obama II

Teacher Sues for Right to Flunk Her Students.

A Teacher Sues an East Baton Rouge, La, school for the right to flunk her students. With the left complaining about US students scores it seems they will do anything to get them up, even prevent teachers from flunking their students. With the dismal state our Government Schools are in this only makes it worse now parents have to ask are their children really passing or is the Government School just giving them a pass. With the Progressives more interested in teaching our children socialism and the wonders of men like Karl Marx, Joseph Stalin, Vladimir Lenin, Mao Zedong, Hugo Chávez, Fidel Castro and his brother, and Che Guevara it is amazing we still can do things like put men in to space, though that won't last much longer now.

As has been done in other countries they realize that they will best gain their power if they teach the next generation to love them, that the need the government to protect them, then they will have their power and a people who will not stand up to them. The Progressives despise at the idea of high standards is yet another reason for our nations problems.

  1. It's all part of the "dumbing down," isn't it?

  2. Yes, I believe it is. A good example is probably the Aztecs, you can read all about how the Conquistadors abused and destroyed them, but they don't talk about how other natives of the region helped the Conquistadors because the Aztecs liked sacrificing people, Human sacrifice, for their gods.

In fact I was watching an episode of Deadliest Warrior putting the Aztec Jaguar vs the Zande Warrior, a quick note the show is not for the faint of heart. Anyway the two representatives for the Aztec culture were all proud about their peoples culture, including the Human sacrifice, they also dissed the Zande's reasons for fighting, for home, land, and family. It was really disturbing in a way.

  3. If the teacher cannot teach a course and then fails the students, then is the teacher a failure thus being fired? No......besides, just fail a few students and watch the rest of them start studying.

  4. This is absurd... no wonder so many under-30 people are in the world wondering why they aren't as special as everybody told them they were.
