Earth Hour and Earth Day Special Part 2.

For Earth Hour and the future Earth Day I have two specials, on political cartoon from the Climate Gate scandal and a debate between Joe Bastardi, AccuWeather Meteorologist and Bill Nye the "Science Guy" from February, 22, 2010 on the O'Reilly Factor.

This will also be the start of sharing some of political cartoons that I have saved over the years. The first on is from a couple of months ago and is about the Climate Gate Scandal, the reason why I’m showing this one first is despite all the evidence of Global Warming-Climate Change is a
fraud, the environmentalists, progressives, and Al Gore are still pushing it, even a couple of
weeks ago Bill Nye and Joe Bastardi were debating of this fraud on O’Rilly’s show
and Nye kept trying to compare Climate Change (a Fraud) to the nature of Venus and the
supposed greenhouse effect on Venus and Earth. For more on those subjects see my previous posts Global Warming and the Greenhouse Effect and Greenhouse Effect and Earth becoming Venus. And I am really getting sick and tired of Earth Hour and Earth Day, and did you know that an Earth Day founder was a killer, Ira Einhorn, stick that in your environmentalist bongs and smoke it.

Isn't it nice that there are more people in this country who are starting to see the past, and who the real leaders were. the Next billboards someone should do is of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Paine, Patrick Henry and Samuel Adams.

In fact, lets start coming up with some ideas for billboards for them, I'll start. This should be fun.

Alexander Hamilton: Remember when the Secretary of the Treasury had real Ideas and wasn't a Tax Cheat. Just too easy!

Thomas Paine: Remember when revolution meant Freedom from Tyranny.

Benjamin Franklin: Remember when Charity was from the Person not the Government.
also: Remember when invention was entrepreneurial and Not dictated by the Government.

Samuel Adams: Remember when Samuel Adams was more then just a brand of Beer.

George Washington: Remember when real Hope and Change was first in the Capital.

Patrick Henry: Remember what a real speech is, give me liberty or give me death!

Ray Stevens - The New Battle Of New Orleans

A few weeks ago I posted some links to some songs of Ray Stevens, I misted one.
This Is one of the reasons I like Ray Stevens, I hadn't heard this song until the other day, The New Battle Of New Orleans, it is a parody of Johnny Horton's Battle of New Orleans, If you haven't listened to this song yet you need to, I think you will love the part on Louis Farrakhan.

The Ole Miss mascot, Colonel Reb

I thought I would post something on the issue of the Ole Miss mascot, Colonel Reb, in case most of you have not heard about this let me tell you about it, in 2003 the administration of University of Mississippi eliminated Colonel Reb as the official mascot of Ole Miss Rebels, as of 2/24/2010 students have voted to replace him, personally I don't like the PC mentality that has pushed this, there is a dark horse movement to have the Star Wars character Admiral Ackbar made the new Ole Miss mascot. Personally I have a better suggestion for the students, one that the administration of University of Mississippi couldn't refuse without ending up with egg on their faces, redesign Colonel Reb and take him back to the war of independence for the American Colonies, change the uniform to colonial rebel and change the beard style to that more of the revolutionary war period, this would make it hard for the administration of University of Mississippi to turn down a caricature of an American Icon. Now I know Mississippi wasn't a state until 1817, but the people of Mississippi were members of America.
Any way that is my opinion.

'Miss Me Yet?' Billboard With Photo Of Bush Is Real

You have to see this, Link, I know its at NPR, but its still amusing.
While I have issues with Bush's more progressive actions, I think most people who voted for Obama might be looking at this, after all that is happening with the Fruit of Kaboom Christmas Bomber, going "Yes!", but that's just me. Either way its still amusing.
