Welcome to Solomon's Conservative Wisdom

Welcome to my Conservative Blog, Solomon's Conservative Wisdom. The name comes from my middle name and the historical & biblical figure King Solomon, now I make no claim to have Solomon's Wisdom, but I do have Common Sense. I welcome anyone to join in and comment about anything I may have written, posted or one of my Articles / Columns. This blog is dedicated to conservatism and freedom. I invite all conservatives to join in, I don’t mind non-conservatives joining in (after all the only way to change liberals and fence-sitters is to debate them and change their minds, some are just too hard headed to admit they are wrong) . All I expect is a respectful debate.

I have recently split my postings to a few other blogs I own, Solomon's Conservative Wisdom, Solomon's Conservative Wisdom II, and Solomon's Conservative Wisdom at Townhall.com, to spread out some of my postings.
So check them out and tell me what you think.

Please comment on my Articles and Columns, as well as any other post that is not just a link to a story.

I want to know what others think and have a debate. And make sure to check out my Articles and Columns if you haven't already.

So tell everyone you know.

Quote of the Month

Runs until 11/07/2012

"Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best; it removes all that is base. All men are afraid in battle. The coward is the one who lets his fear overcome his sense of duty. Duty is the essence of manhood."

General George S. Patton

"If you’ve got a business – you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen."

Anthony Weiner vs Glenn Beck, and the Progressive Agenda.

Starting last week Anthony Weiner launched an attack on Glenn Beck as part of the larger attack on Glenn. Weiner's attack focused on what Glenn discuses on his radio show and the company Goldline, Inc which is a sponsor of his radio show.

Weiner's problem is that he thinks Beck, Mark Levin, Fred Thompson, Sean Hannity, and other conservative commentators are using their shows to prey on the public's fears of inflation and socialist takeovers with while actively promoting the purchase of gold coins as insurance against this purported government overreach. Weiner also claims that Goldline uses aggressive sales tactics, conservative spokespeople and rhetoric to sell over-priced gold coins to unsuspecting consumers. See O'Reilly's interview with the Weiner below, as well as the Friday segment with Glenn.

Is Beck the New Goldfinger?

O'Reilly vs. Weiner Over Gold Controversy

So whats the truth behind this attack on Conservative commentators? Its just another attack by the Progressives on Conservatives, though it is mainly focused like a cruse missile on Glenn Beck due to his being out there the most with his show on FoxNews. But I want to have some fun with Weiner, he claims to be trying to protect the consumer, but why isn't he going after Nintendo? Why Nintendo, consumers are having problems with Nintendo, specifically, downloaded games and similar mediums are registered to a specific piece of hardware, not an individual consumer. So when that consumer's Wii brakes or gets fried they have to go through a complicated and painful process to get that stuff moved to the new system, unlike with Sony or Microsoft where the software is registered to the user. Read the Story Here. Why isn't Weiner protecting his gamer constituents? Simple he's got an agenda against Conservatives.

And another point on Weiner's "issue" of Goldline marking up their price by 100%, Weiner is an obvious socialist but I am going to do this anyway, it's called Capitalism and the free market, Caveat Emptor, Let the buyer beware. I used to sell collectible card games, one of those is Magic the Gathering, and there is one card that most players whould love to have, its called the Black Lotus, you can see the card on the right, the price that people are willing to pay for it can be expensive, and some disturbing. The original cost to make that card was what, a few cents, now it goes for over five thousand dollars for one in good condition. Its weiners like him who messed the free market in the first place and now he wants to show up and claim he is looking out for the consumer?! The only thing Weiner is looking out for is his own Progressive/Socialist agenda that would enslave the people of this Great Country.

The original news story from CBS, Rep. Anthony Weiner Hits Glenn Beck, Goldline for "Unholy Alliance" to Sell Gold. Also there is this item on some things Weiner said about Tea Party members and Bill O'Reilly, Here.

Solomon.
