America and Our Rights: Guns Part II.

I originally wrote this back on May 5th, but the recent Supreme Court ruling on the Second Amendment I decided to post it here with some additions.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg of NYC has made comments recently (May 4-5th 2010) complaining about guns coming from other states to NYC, saying “ Let me close by saying: this is not about the Second Amendment. Our Founding Fathers did not write the Second Amendment to empower people who wanted to terrorize a free state; they wrote it to protect people who could defend ‘the security of a free state.’ Today, the security of our free state is being tested by terrorists." “I urge you to take common sense steps to strengthen law enforcement – including closing the terror gap – and to protect the American people from more attacks.”

With Bill O'Reilly saying that he is “fine with” president Obama acting like a thug in chief to BP instead of someone who has been sworn to follow, obey, and enforce the law I thought I would do my own version of a familiar Christmas article, this one pointed to Bill O'Reilly and all those who are fine with the President of the United States acting like a dictator or thug towards a company who, yes, has made a mess, but it is not a reason to throw away something that isn’t broken.

Cumulative Voting, A Bad Idea Made Real in Port Chester, NY.

While scanning through news stories online I came across this one about the residents getting 6 votes each in a suburban NY election, this is an alert to all conservatives, this story is a disturbing jump to Progressive ideas made real far more then any of us would like. This was by the order and on the instructions of a federal judge and the U.S. Department of Justice as part of a new election system crafted to help boost Hispanic representation. This is the progressives most disturbing move yet.

I knew Obama's Oval Office Speech was going to be a progressive propaganda piece, but I didn't think he would be stupid enough to say that they were drilling in mile deep water because we are running out of easy oil. Boy was I wrong! After weeks of pundits talking about the reason why they were drilling out that deep was because the Feds were forbidding them to drill where the easily accessible oil is, it's now obvious for someone as clever as he is he thinks that he can pull the wool over the Americans eyes he is a fool.

A few months ago I watched an interview Bill O'Reilly did with Steward Rhodes, founder of the Oathkeepers, see the 1st video below, and became annoyed with O'Reilly as seems to be a pattern in the last year. O'Reilly doesn't seem to realize just how dangerous his attitude, the people they were disarming were the LAW-ABIDING citizens NOT the thugs running around acting like warlords in a third world country. I just don't get O'Reilly when Katrina first happened he claimed to have a revelation how gun liberal control and regulations don't work, but now its alright, those thugs were/are predators we all know or have repeated the joke to a gun control person "Put up a big Gun Free zone sign for all to see at your home, and see what happens." See the video below from the 1/2 Hour News Hour on how liberals think it works.

So why am I doing this now after Glenn Beck showed the video clip of the old woman in New Orleans was roughed up to take her gun, I decided to find that clip, but I found something even better or worse depending on one's point of view, on more of the people the authorities took legal guns from not caring about their rights. It brings to mind a common defense during the Nuremberg Trials "I was only fallowing orders" that 'defense' has been declared illegitimate as a defense to crimes committed by civilian and military personnel when ordered to by their leaders.

So if Obama was to use the current incident to order the confiscation of guns from the public, which would clearly be unconstitutional, when the Supreme Court declared it so all individuals who participated in that action would be vulnerable to civil and criminal penalties.

Also Bill O'Reilly a few weeks ago on Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin and another soldier with a facebook page supporting the Tea Party basically said that soldiers should just follow your orders and don't question them.

So again I am left asking Bill O'Reilly a question he will never answer, All the Oathkeepers are saying is they will not follow unconstitutional orders, so why do you want them to follow unconstitutional orders if they are given them. Unfortunately Bill O'Reilly won't answer my question.

The "Human Rights" Con

With more and more so called "Human Rights" being created, most recently the "Right to Travel," Brussels Declares Vacation Time a Human Right, I wanted to share some stories & links about what this Con of Human Rights creates and is really about. The first is a story from Sweden, it entails the Swedish Government taking in to custody a seven year old boy over homeshcooling, (quick info, the Swedish police barged into a passenger jet awaiting departure from Sweden to India and forcibly took into custody the boy.) The Speech From the Street Fighter Movie.

I have been busy for the past week and haven't had the time to do any constructive posts, but I have something for you today. It is the speech made by Jean-Claude Van Damme as Colonel William F. Guile when the politician/bureaucrat tells him they are going to give in to the demands of the bad guy. If any one remembers the Street Fighter movie staring Jean-Claude Van Damme from 1994 most considered it a bad movie, I always thought it wasn't great but it isn't bad. Now for the Transcript of the Speech, I will explain why a Transcript afterwords.

I was reminded of this speech when I just watched again on tape the other day. It just seems to hit home to the point of the way the Progressives want to solve problems, especially in the recent light of Obama's Limiting Potential Uses of Nuclear Weapons, if you throw enough money at something or someone you will solve the problem.

A.N. Official: [getting saluted] As you were, Colonel.

Now the reason why this is a Transcript is I couldn't find a clip of the speech, it would seem that NBC Universal, A.K.A. the Obama Network, doesn't want it on the web, as Video anyway. This speech is one of the Greatest in Cinematic History, in my opinion anyway.

Obama to Limit Potential Uses of Nuclear Weapons

I want to tackle this subject from a different perspective then my usual, I want to tackle this from the perspective of the (a strong) leader of a nation, I'm not but have played a slew of Civilization Games, (Civ III is the best in my opinion) but I digress. Now, I am not the leader of any nation but pretending for the moment I was the leader of a Neo Rome I would never make a statement or policy like what Obama has, not to use nuclear weapons against most non-nuclear countries, no matter what they use against us. This is just asking for something to happen and as to keeping "all options" on the table for nations like North Korea and Iran, I have to be honest I really don't trust Obama and his policies in this area, North Korea and Iran are far more likely to pass the "Nuclear Football" to terrorists or another third party then do the job themselves, and I can just hear their excuse now, "We can not attack a sovereign nation for the "Actions" of terrorists with "loose" connections to (insert your favorite possible enemy nation)." Now, as someone who has played games like Civilization III where a computer opponent with no real personal religion or philosophy's is far more likely to attack you then in real war, I have to speak of personal experience in these games when you have a large military force with an equal might an opponent is far less likely to attack you, when you can demonstrate to an enemy that you can or could destroy them they will be far more likely to just play a war of words.

Now personally looking at history this also proves true, take for example what is known as the golden age of piracy, real pirates not the music and video pirates, it started out with the Privateers who would attack the Spanish treasure ships transporting the riches of the new world to Spain, these Privateers were legitimate pirates who were given what basically could be considered a piracy licence to attack the ships of that nation's enemies, with some restrictions, these Privateers would pay a portion of their booty to their sponsors. This is a good example of what happens when you have a superior military force to your potential enemies.

And to answer any questions of how you deal with pirates and terrorists, for the most part you should treat them as enemy combatants or like saboteurs, they have no rights under the Genia Convention, can be tried in a military court, and can be put to death if found guilty, also to be kind they get some appeals, how about three strikes, three appeals and its over, unless something comes up that would change the facts of your case you don't get any more.

If you are unwilling to show or display that you can destroy an enemy in seconds or a short period of time, you will open yourself up to any number of possible threats to you nation. When you are the leader of a nation great or small your interests should be your people, their God given rights, freedom and security. Balancing these can be hard, but it is doable.

More National ID Fun.

Tonight, (3/25/2010), Glenn made a comment on Bill O'Rilly's love of the National ID, German speaker: Papers? It was the perfect point on the National ID when It comes to that abomination.
How long before some evil individual starts using it for more nefarious usages if it is passed. The fact that Pro-Amnesty Gramnisty is one of the pushers of this just makes me more suspicious of it and him.

National ID or Mark of the Beast?

So whats up with the two images above, its about a conversation that Bill O'Rilly and Lou Dobbs about a National ID, one that every citizen would have to have and would also have our DNA, now while I am a Christian, unlike some on the far right side I don't believe the end times are at hand or even close, I could list my points but to put it simply people have been looking for Christ's return since he left, but their have been wars, plagues, famines, and death since then and often with the four happening together.
These two passages from the New Testament prove my point,

Now past that and back to the issue of the National ID with our DNA that Bill O'Rilly and Lou Dobbs like, No way in God's Green Earth! Other then the fact that it screams mark of the beast it would give an already power hungry government more power over us. Think about it government would be able to have our DNA from birth, what would stop them from then checking randomly that DNA with various sex crimes cases, now I am not against putting rapists and pedophiles away and out of society but what happened to our Constitutional Rights. Then what happens when that same power hungry government decides that you have to have this National ID in order to get on a car, bus, or airplane. Or to get any kind of job, to rent a book, a movie, or to buy anything from food, beer, wine, cards, games, drugs (Legal), and anything else you can think of. Or acquire any kind of services, or go to any kind of school, You Must Have this National ID Card from the federal government. And from there when we crack some of the supposed secrets of DNA that would tell us what couple might go together best, maybe even tell what couples should be together and who shouldn't, would you want that.

We have all read the books or seen the movies of 1984, Brave New World (or the movie Demolition Man), Fahrenheit 451, Atlas Shrugged, Logan's Run or any other book or movie about when government has almost total control over a populace. And don't forget the real life examples of Nazi Germany, Soviet Russia, Communist China, Castro and Che's Cuba, and Pol Pot in Cambodia. When the leaders of those countries rose to power during their time the actions they took we now look back upon in disgust and swear not to repeat it, and yet we now have people like Bill O'Rilly and Lou Dobbs who think things like a National ID it is a great idea.
Heck, Bill O'Rilly himself keeps wanting government oversight over ever kind of business, except his and some others seriously Bill do you even do any kind of critical thinking on these kind of subjects.

The government should never be allowed to track legal citizens like this, heck I even have a problem with it for legal immigrants too. It would just be to tempting a thing to abuse by a power hungry government. Let's put this and another issue, Health Care, together for people like Bill O'Rilly, lets say Bill likes Papa Johns Pizza and due to the government's mandate with a National ID that it must be scanned for all purchases every time he buys something it gets logged in to the government's computers, then one day Bill has to go to the Hospital and they look up his food purchases on the computers and bam! They see he has eaten a lot of Papa Johns Pizzas and deny him care based on that. Still want to give government that power?

The So Called Health Care Crisis

With the current Health Care Summit going on, I thought I would talk about it, first I like how the republicans managed to reverse the trap the Dem's had planned, personally I thought they shouldn't have gone. Now on to the issue of Health Care I want to start with some of the more contentious issues such as the issue of preexisting conditions, health care coverage mandates, the public option & mandatory coverage, and the issue of employer coverage.

A Lawyer in Under an Hour or get out of Jail Free, Unless you are an American Conservative. Updated

With what I have been hearing in the last couple of days about what happened with James O'Keefe and friends, it’s starting to look bad for the government. James O'Keefe and friends were asking for their lawyer but where pretty much ignored so that the prosecutors could make what they did sound like Watergate, but on the other hand the Fruit of Kaboom Bomber can get a lawyer in under an hour even though he was singing like the proverbial canary about what might be coming, now he’s shut up thanks to that lawyer. And lets not forget the case of the Black Panthers that the Justice Department basically won but once Eric Holder got a hold of the case he snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. So if I follow the logic of the Obama Administration if you’re a terrorist you get a lawyer in under an hour or you get out of jail free but if you are an American Conservative you are the real threat to the nation. It will be a wonder that we get out of this Administration with out a major terrorist attack.

And when James O'Keefe and friends get in front of a jury, if just a few of the jurors tried to call Sen. Mary Landrieu's office and got a dead or busy line they just might vote not guilty to spite the government, a conservative version of the OJ trial, just without murder.

They're Making the same mistake again, first take a look at this story here, now what makes me angry is the fact that we have been through this before, back before and during World War Two the US Government and Military made several fatal mistakes when it came to technology, first was the B-17 Flying Fortress before the flight of Andrei Tupolev’s Ant-25 to the US, this shocked the US government officials into continuing the B-17 program which congress was on the verge of canceling. The next was the government officials attitude on jet technology while Germany, Brittan, Russia, and Japan was working on some kind of jet technology the US military and others thought it was impossible, it wasn’t until April 1941 when Hap Arnold, Chief of the Army Air Corps, was in England and asked his host, in effect "You know, some of my technical people are telling me, as odd as this my sound, that perhaps we should be looking at gas turbines." and the answer he gets is "Absolutely, do you want to see our airplane?" He was shown the Gloucester Whittle prototype of the E.28/39 turbojet, it was at that moment he realized the huge mistake that was made, that they had missed the opportunity for the US to be equal or superior to others jet programs, they missed one US designed jet in 1939-1940, the Lockheed L-133, {you can find images of what it would have looked like here}, and the third was the arrogant view of Japan, that they were incapable of building a fighter equal or superior to those of the west, and later in the war that Japan could build or develop jet technology, as history has shown that view was very wrong.

At this point its not the US Military that I am afraid of repeating these mistakes, its the Obama Administration who doesn't get it, as Zell Miller said about John Karry in his Speech at the 2004 Republican National Convention, I ask the same "This is the man who wants to be the Commander in Chief of the U.S. Armed Forces? U.S. forces armed with what? Spitballs?" We will be playing catch up agin if we don't slap down this Progressive Movement and the pansies in government when it comes to our Military and Brave Soldiers. These are the same types that let our ships in Pearl Harbor have no fuel.

Tell Congress and the Obama Administration dont follow in the steps of Neville Chamberlain and Jimmy Carter, allow the Millitary to get and develop the weapons it needs, And bring back the National Missile Defense!
