Teacher Sues for Right to Flunk Her Students.

A Teacher Sues an East Baton Rouge, La, school for the right to flunk her students. With the left complaining about US students scores it seems they will do anything to get them up, even prevent teachers from flunking their students. With the dismal state our Government Schools are in this only makes it worse now parents have to ask are their children really passing or is the Government School just giving them a pass. With the Progressives more interested in teaching our children socialism and the wonders of men like Karl Marx, Joseph Stalin, Vladimir Lenin, Mao Zedong, Hugo Chávez, Fidel Castro and his brother, and Che Guevara it is amazing we still can do things like put men in to space, though that won't last much longer now.

As has been done in other countries they realize that they will best gain their power if they teach the next generation to love them, that the need the government to protect them, then they will have their power and a people who will not stand up to them. The Progressives despise at the idea of high standards is yet another reason for our nations problems.

The "Human Rights" Con

With more and more so called "Human Rights" being created, most recently the "Right to Travel," Brussels Declares Vacation Time a Human Right, I wanted to share some stories & links about what this Con of Human Rights creates and is really about. The first is a story from Sweden, it entails the Swedish Government taking in to custody a seven year old boy over homeshcooling, (quick info, the Swedish police barged into a passenger jet awaiting departure from Sweden to India and forcibly took into custody the boy.) The next story is of German family seeking asylum here in the US, because they feared persecution if returned to their home country because of their decision to home school, by the way they have been granted asylum by a US federal immigration Judge, which will not make the progressives here or in Europe happy. With the Obama Administration wanting to make Health Care a human right, these stories should be a wake up call to those who have been coned by this scam of these new human rights.

How to Improve Public (Goverment) Schools Pt on Summer Vacation

I didn’t plan on doing this so soon, but I saw a story on this and I have decided to do a preview of my How to Improve the Government School System, this one on the drive to get rid of summer vacation.

First the origin of summer vacation for schools was during America’s agrarian roots unlike many of the stories going around about it being for the spring planting or fall harvest which don’t fit time wise, it was for the growing season, and before the modern version of the school system you had the school house and schooling was either voluntary or done by parents, and the children would work around the home, farm, or family business. Now the modern incarnation of summer vacation came into being with the increasing middle class and the ability for those families to take vacations that would last for several weeks.

Now as to the movement to get rid of summer vacation and the argument to extend the school year, I find it is usually pushed by liberals and progressives who use the excuse of Summer Learning Loss, while it is true that children "forget" things during the summer vacation, so do most adults after most start some career, they forget things which to them have no use or does not interest them. I find that the main motive is to keep kids in classrooms longer by using various excuses such as comparisons with foreign countries like Japan with higher scores and all-year school, but what they don’t tell parents is why US scores have dropped in the last few decades, because of their progressive agenda. I will have more on this in later parts of this series but for now I will finish up on this subject.

The liberals and progressives real agenda is to keep children in school longer away from their parents with longer school years and Saturday school so that they can indoctrinate children with their progressive agenda, free from potential medaling by parents. Just look at some of the liberal policies some schools have pushed in recent years, changing what the grades mean, ending the use of red ink, the tolerance for bad behavior (and I don’t mean the class clowns), and the bureaucracy we see in the government school system, there are many more that I could list but I will keep it short.

Finally if you were to compare the homeschoolers scores with the foreign scores you would see what Americans are capable of doing without the progressive interference. The fact that the average American Goverment School Student scores well is amazing with all the progressive interference going on.

Criminal background checks are being proposed for homeschoolers. The plan is called the most overbearing law in the English-speaking world. The left just won't give up, homeschoolers do far better on tests and many other areas but they just will not accept it. They use odd stories and say the kids are not socially adjusted, which studies now show are not true.
They just can't let Individuals exist. Because they know Individuals stand up against them and other tyrants.
