First this whole “the Israelis killed poor innocent civilians” is, and excuse my french, crap. I have reposted the video of Glenn playing Helen Thomas’ comments and those on the “Freedom Flotilla” below, it plays in the middle of the clip. The only thing these people are upset about is the fact that they weren’t able to run the blockade and kill some “evil” Jews. I want to bring some quick attention to Mosab Hassan Yousef, incase no one remembers who he is, he is the son of Hassan Yousef a Hamas founder and leader. About ten years ago he converted from Islam to Christianity and kept this from his family, and in 2008 he came out publicly about his conversion and has some harsh words about Islam and Arab leadership, you can read them here, Son of Hamas Leader Turns Back on Islam and Embraces Christianity. His words are just as significant today as they were two years ago.

Now as to what Israel did with the "Freedom Flotilla" they were between a proverbial rock and hard place, all they want is to be left alone in peace, but they have people and groups who want to exterminate them like the proverbial pest infestation, and not in the green, tree hugging, animal rights, don’t kill them way. With groups like Hamas wanting to repeat the “glory” days of the Nazis why wouldn’t they want to inspect a ship heading to Gaza. As others have said this was obviously a set up, but what was Israel supposed to do they don’t know what is on that ship, and as it has been shown in many a media it is easy to create secret hiding places for munitions to deliver to Hamas.
And now for all of these people to come out and condemn Israel and those “evil” Jews, like Helen Thomas, just shows who the real bigots are I have a political cartoon that symbolizes this and the war on terror best, and will close this post out.

ReplyDeleteThe way you have woven cartoons, and reality, solidifies the truth. Hamas, Al Queda, Iran, and unaffiliated citizens of the world hate 'The Jews', and wish them exterminated, or 'just moved, somewhere, anywhere'.
Our current Administration, along with the Bi-Administration that is crammed into closets in The State Department, is at best ambivalent.

What I've been thinking lately is that Israel cannot count on our government. I hope they have contingency plans for, at the very least, being abandoned by the US.

Israel has to stand strong against the forces that wish to exterminate them, but they are not alone the American people still support them, even if the administration doesn't.
